Our Environmental Policy

Izarraitz Vocational Training is aware of its social responsibility and considers it necessary to implement an environmental policy to protect the environment.

We are committed to using the necessary resources in a sustainable way, trying to minimise the impact on climate change, adapting to the protection of biodiversity and guaranteeing the minimum environmental impact of the centre’s activity. It is also committed to training people who represent their personal and social development in terms of environmental, economic and social sustainability.
The following principles have been established to give content to this environmental policy:

  • To educate, train and raise awareness among the Izarraitz Vocational Training staff to improve their environmental behaviour for the development of their professional activity.
  • Promote good environmental practices in the centre's management areas (pre-interior-reuse-recycle)..
  • To carry out an analysis of its life cycle
  • Adopt the necessary measures to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in order to mitigate climate change.

  • In all the cycles offered in the centre, some topic of the 2030 Agenda for
    Vocational Education and Training will be included in the curriculum (taking advantage of the ETHAZI methodology).
  • Ikastetxean ematen diren ziklo guztietan, Lanbide Heziketako Agenda 2030 gairen bat Curriculumean sartuko da (ETHAZI metodologia aprobetxatuz).
  • Enable the signing of an individual environmental commitment by the entire body of the centre (teaching staff, students and non-teaching staff).
  • Disseminate the 17 Sustainable Development Goals 2030 in the body of the centre.
